Description
During the workshop we will discuss: government rules regarding personal information and data breaches, and how business are affected by them; such as GLBA, HIPAA, FACTA and Red Flag Rules; types of identity theft (it is much more than just your credit); the cost to a business when an employee becomes the victim of identity theft; peer-to-peer file sharing; photocopier security; laptop and IT security; online and phone scams; plus legal access. Each participant will leave with an outline for a data breach plan to implement at their business.
