Description
The University of Central Florida is continuing the tradition of hosting their signature holiday event, Light Up UCF, - “50 Nights of Music, Lights and Ice”-from November 15th 2013 – January 5th 2014. Now in its 6th year, Light Up UCF is located at Knights Plaza in front of the CFE Arena. Light Up UCF features an 8,000 SF outdoor ice skating rink that serves as the event’s center-piece along with a spectacular light show of over 150,000 lights choreographed to seasonal musical selections. Adding to the festive atmosphere are several interactive rides and attractions including the Arctic Glide Ice Slide, the Light Up Express kids train, the Holiday Ferris Wheel, the Arctic Tornado, Santa’s Workshop and a free outdoor “under the stars” Holiday Film Festival shown on a giant two-story screen.
